Description
This silver tetradrachm was minted in the Ancient city state of Carthage sometime between 350 and 325 B.C. The head of Herakles (Hercules) is on the obverse of this coin. He is wearing a lion skin headdress which was the lion he killed with his bear hands as mythology told. On the reverse is the head of a horse to signify the great horses that were bread in Carthage. This Ancient artifact is hand set in a 14kt gold pendant.
