Description
This Japanese rectangular nisshu kin coin is made of .298 gold and .702 silver and was minted sometime between 1846 and 1867. This coin was minted near the end of the Shogun era and the last of the Samuri. These are among some of the only rectangular coins minted in history and is hand framed in 14kt green gold with 2 carats of green peridot.
